The technology

Five layers. One quiet camera.

FreshSense sits on a fridge shelf, looks at everything inside, works out what is going off, and tells you before it does. Here is each layer, in the order it happens.

LAYER 01 — MOUNT

It sticks. That is the install.

A magnetic mount holds FreshSense inside the fridge. No tools, no wires, no drilling. Place it, and it starts watching.

  • SetupNo tools, no wires
LAYER 02 — OPTICS

One lens sees the whole shelf.

A wide-angle fisheye lens captures the entire fridge in a single frame, continuously, without any manual input. The lens sits flat in the face of the device, so nothing snags and nothing needs aiming.

LAYER 03 — VISION AI

The intelligence behind the camera.

FreshSense uses advanced vision AI to identify each item and estimate its freshness and remaining shelf life. Inside the puck: a camera board, a rechargeable cell and a USB-C port.

  • VisionItem recognition
  • TrackingFreshness over time
  • PowerBattery, USB-C charging
LAYER 04 — FRESHSCORE

Everything scored, without opening the door.

Your fridge at a glance: each item rated by freshness, plus a weekly FreshScore that shows whether waste is trending down.

  • OutputFreshness per item
  • TrendWeekly FreshScore
LAYER 05 — ALERTS

A nudge before it turns.

Timely notifications arrive before food expires, with recipes built around what is about to go and a grocery list that fills itself as items run out.

  • AlertsBefore expiry
  • RecipesFrom what you have
  • GroceriesAuto-generated list
