Using the app

FreshSense is provided as-is for your personal, non-commercial use. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

AI-generated estimates

Freshness percentages, days-remaining estimates, and recommendations are generated by an AI model based on a photo and should not be the sole basis for food safety decisions. Always use your own judgment — when in doubt, don't eat it.

Cost

FreshSense is free to use. Future premium features, if introduced, may require payment — we'll always be clear about what's free and what isn't before you're asked to pay for anything.

Your data, your ownership

You own the contents of your fridge — and your data about it. We don't claim any rights to your fridge contents, scan photos, or preferences.

Acceptable use

Don't use FreshSense to try to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer the app beyond what's permitted by law, or submit photos that aren't yours to analyze.

Limitation of liability

FreshSense is not liable for any loss, illness, or damage resulting from food spoilage, misjudged freshness estimates, or recipes generated by the app. The app is a tool to help reduce food waste, not a substitute for your own food safety judgment.

Termination

You may stop using FreshSense at any time by deleting the app. We may discontinue or modify the app or any of its features at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
